Community Support

There are numerous ways that you can get involved. The DuPage County Fair Association takes great pride in supporting many local non-profits and Governmental agencies, and the good works they do for our community. We also provide some projects that help support those efforts.

How We Help

Community Non-Profit Organizations

The DuPage County Fair Association takes pride in supporting many area non-profit organizations and the good works they do. People Resource Center, NAMI DuPage, Catholic Charities, DuPage PADS, and Poised for Success are just a few.
DCFA also supports many local governmental agencies through the use of facilities including the Wheaton Park District, District 200, DuPage County Sheriff, Wheaton Fire Department, Wheaton Police Department, City of Wheaton and various other agencies.

During the past year of COVID Response, we were honored to support the efforts of: * Homeland Security and Emergency Management through their PPE Distribution.

  • DuPage Health Department COVID Testing Site
  • DuPage County Clerks Socially Distanced Primary Election Site
  • DuPage Health Department’s very successful COVID Vaccination Site
  • Early Voting Sites for both the General Election and the Consolidated Elections

It was a very busy, but a very rewarding year for us.

How to Get Involved

During our annual fair, we strive to offer a variety of opportunities to get involved and give back to the community. Here’s what you can do to help your neighbors in need!

Donate to Friends of the DuPage County Fair

The Friends of the DuPage County Fair is a 501c-3 organization that supports the preservation and future development to the Fairgrounds. All donations go to maintaining our grounds and preserving our agricultural heritage.

Another project the Friends of the DuPage County Fair took on was to create a college scholarship fund. We are in our fifth year of the Student Art Contest and Scholarship program and to date have awarded over $60K in scholarships.

The Pillowcase Challenge

Help us bring a smile to kids, youths, and adults and make their hospital stay as pleasant as possible by sewing pillowcases. Pick a cheery, fun, cotton fabric (no flannel please) and start sewing!

All pillowcases will be donated to Ronald McDonald House, CDH Northwestern Medicine, and Delnor Community Hospital. Put each pillowcase in a zip lock bag and bring them to the DuPage County Fair Office by November 15th. The Office is located at 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00pm.

Stockings for the Troops

Join the DuPage County Fair Association and Wayne Township Seniors Group and make a Christmas stocking for armed forces members which will be filled with goodies and sent in time for the holiday. Please bring your Stockings for the Troops to the DuPage County Fair Office by November 15th. The stocking pattern is available at the Office so either stop by or call us at 630-668-6636 and we will send the pattern to you.

Pop Top Collection

Collect beverage can tops and bring them to the DuPage County Fair Office anytime through out the year. These tops benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield, so collect as many as possible to support a very worthy cause.
